An innovative agreement between member institutions of the Carolina Consortium and publisher IGI Global provides open access to articles authored by researchers at participating schools. UNC Greensboro and UNC system affiliates East Carolina, UNC Charlotte, and Winston-Salem State have banded together with a group of South Carolina institutions to purchase shared ebook titles from IGI Global. In addition to providing online content for research and learning, these ebook purchases are associated with waivers that authors from member institutions can use to offset fees for open access articles published with IGI Global.
