The UNCG Libraries have saved 12,000 students nearly $3,000,000 on textbooks

In 2015, the UNCG Libraries began funding and supporting faculty interested in converting their courses from requiring textbook purchases to using free course materials. Over the past few years, the Libraries have worked with 75 UNCG faculty members who taught 100s of sections, resulting in nearly $3,000,000 in savings for 12,078 students.
